Leveraging Single-Cell Transcriptomics for the Discovery of New Therapeutic Concepts

What you will learn:

  • State-of-the-art methods for the processing and analysis of scRNA-seq data.
  • How to leverage scRNA-seq for efficient target validation.
  • Consolidating RNA-seq data from various biological states to characterize the similarities and differences in a single cell resolution.
  • Case study: How we applied our tailored approach to discriminate healthy and diseased individuals in a respiratory setting.

About webinar:

Our presentation will focus on the single-cell RNA-seq sequencing analysis capabilities at Ardigen. We will guide you through the steps of single-cell RNA-seq data preprocessing and quality control. These crucial steps are just the beginning, as we then delve deeper into various downstream analyzes relevant to the drug discovery process. We will present you with the wide range of possibilities that are available when single-cell RNA-seq data is appropriately curated. The integration of datasets with one another, or other data modalities, for example, allows us to strengthen our understanding of the differences and similarities across different biological conditions. Through the application of scRNA-seq-based analyzes, we can enhance the process of novel therapeutic concept discovery.

Meet our speakers:

Łukasz Boryń
Senior Bioinformatician

Lukasz is a highly motivated individual who is interested in understanding the molecular basis of transcriptional regulation. His work focuses on developing various molecular and computational tools that can be used in the drug discovery process. He specializes in functionally assessing the impact of the information encoded in DNA on transcription, in both bulk and scRNA-seq studies.

Jakub Widawski
Bioinformatician

Jakub is a bioinformatician at Ardigen, specializing in the analysis of single-cell RNA-Seq data, especially in the context of drug discovery. He is interested in exploring state-of-the-art bioinformatics methods and facilitating their reproduction through user-friendly pipelines and applications.
